Let's work together to social distance
Updated: Oct 22, 2020
As we learn to live with COVID-19 as part of the "new normal", we all need to do our best to social distance
The 4sqm rule dictates the maximum number of people in our centre (besides those in the water) should not exceed 25. To maintain that limit, we kindly request you do the following:
Parents of children 7 years old and above are not permitted inside the centre. Your children must be dropped off and picked up from outside the building. A staff member will be present to guide the student to their lesson if they are unsure where to go and direct them to their parent when they leave.
If your child is between 1.5 and 6 years old, strictly one adult is allowed to accompany them inside the building. Any other adults will be asked to wait outside the building.
Be respectful of others and maintain 1.5m between families both inside and outside the centre.
Arrive just in time for your lesson, already dressed in your swimsuit and leave promptly. The on-deck showers can still be used for rinsing off but the bathroom shower will no longer be available.
Baby classes please enter the water from the middle of the pool and then make your way to your lesson through the water when the session starts. At the end of the lesson, please exit via the ladders.
We realise these arrangements are not ideal but we want to ensure we play our part in keeping the community safe so we can all continue to enjoy swimming education at Fit2Swim. If you have any special requirements, please let us know and we will look after you.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
